Our Projects

Project Pragati aims to empower women and girls by focusing on four key areas that ensure their holistic development and well-being. This project will be implemented across schools, colleges, and communities to address the most pressing challenges faced by women and girls.

  1. Safety (Suraksha)
Safety is the primary concern for women and girls, both in public and private spaces. Under this component, we will:
    • Conduct self-defense workshops and awareness campaigns to equip women and girls with tools and knowledge to protect themselves.
    • Organize POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training in educational institutions and workplaces to promote safe environments.
    • Collaborate with local authorities to enhance safety measures and support systems for women.

  2. Education (Shiksha)
Education is the foundation of empowerment. Project Pragati will focus on:
    • Providing free education to underprivileged girls and ensuring their access to quality schooling.
    • Offering vocational training programs in areas such as tailoring, digital literacy, and soft skills to enhance employability.
    • Scholarship programs to help girls pursue higher education and professional courses.
    • Conducting awareness campaigns to highlight the importance of education for girls, especially in rural areas.

  3. Health (Swasthya)
Health and well-being are crucial for the personal growth of women and girls. In this area, we aim to:
    • Organize health camps and provide health awareness programs focusing on reproductive health, mental well-being, and hygiene.
    • Promote nutritional awareness to ensure that women and girls maintain good health.
    • Provide health check-ups and support for maternal health.

  4. Empowerment (Swalambita)
Empowerment is the cornerstone of Project Pragati. This focus area aims to:
    • Encourage economic independence by providing skill development training, such as entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
    • Facilitate career counseling and placement assistance for young women in both rural and urban settings.
    • Foster leadership programs and initiatives that build confidence and decision-making abilities among women and girls.
    • Promote legal awareness and rights education to help women understand and claim their rights.

Impact of Project Pragati
Through these four focused areas, Project Pragati aims to create a safe, healthy, educated, and empowered generation of women and girls. This project will build a foundation for their growth, enabling them to take charge of their lives and contribute to society in meaningful ways. By focusing on Safety, Education, Health, and Empowerment, the project will provide a comprehensive approach to improving the lives of women and girls in the community.

In addition, Project Pragati will act as a model for sustainable development that other regions can replicate, ensuring the long-term progress of women and girls.

Project Jagriti focuses on empowering individuals across Uttar Pradesh through comprehensive POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) training. This project is designed to create awareness and build capacity to prevent and address sexual harassment and child abuse, thereby ensuring the safety and well-being of women and girls.

Key Focus Areas of Project Jagriti

  1. POSH Training
POSH training is designed to equip organizations, institutions, and communities with the knowledge and tools to prevent and address sexual harassment. The training aims to:
    • Raise awareness about the POSH Act and the rights of women to work in a harassment-free environment.
    • Train organizations and workplaces to set up effective POSH committees, ensuring compliance with the law.
    • Provide guidance on handling complaints and resolving issues related to sexual harassment in a fair and transparent manner.
    • Educate women and men about creating respectful and safe work environments, reducing incidents of harassment.

  2. POCSO Training
The POCSO Act is a critical legal framework that safeguards children from sexual abuse. In Project Jagriti, POCSO training focuses on:
    • Sensitizing educators, parents, and communities about the importance of protecting children from sexual offenses.
    • Training school staff, caregivers, and law enforcement in identifying signs of child abuse and the legal procedures for reporting and addressing such cases.
    • Empowering children and their families with knowledge about their rights and the resources available for support in case of abuse.
    • Fostering a culture of zero tolerance towards child sexual abuse within communities, schools, and organizations.

  3. Training Trainers for POSH and POCSO
One of the key objectives of Project Jagriti is to build a network of certified POSH and POCSO Trainers across Uttar Pradesh. These trainers will be equipped to:
    • Conduct training sessions in schools, colleges, workplaces, and community centers, thereby expanding the reach of the project across the entire state.
    • Serve as local champions of awareness who will continue spreading knowledge and ensuring compliance with POSH and POCSO laws.
    • Help in creating safe spaces for women and children by training individuals who can actively contribute to building a secure and respectful society.

Impact of Project Jagriti

Project Jagriti will significantly contribute to creating a safe, harassment-free environment for women and children across Uttar Pradesh. Through targeted POSH and POCSO training, the project will:
• Increase awareness of legal provisions that protect women and children.
• Ensure that organizations and institutions have the necessary skills to handle and address incidents of sexual harassment and abuse.
• Create a network of certified trainers who will continue the work of spreading awareness, empowering communities, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Ultimately, the project will play a crucial role in creating a safe society where women and girls can thrive without fear of harassment or abuse.

By covering the entire state of Uttar Pradesh, Project Jagriti ensures that the message of safety, respect, and legal rights reaches every corner of society, making it an integral part of fostering change for women and girls’ empowerment.

The Kaushalika Program aims to empower women and girls by providing them with various skill development training. Under this program, women identify their talents and are taught skills that are useful in various industries, enabling them to become self-reliant and improve their financial status.
The program not only teaches traditional and modern skills but also trains women with a business perspective, helping them sell the products they create in the market. Through this initiative, women are provided a platform to sell their handmade products via the organization’s store, fostering their entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Objectives of the Kaushalika Program:

  1. To train women and girls in various trades and skills.
  2. To make them self-reliant and provide new employment opportunities.
  3. To help them sell their handmade products in the market and improve their economic status.
  4. To socially and economically empower women.

The program offers a wide range of training, such as sewing, weaving, handmade product creation, embroidery, and other skills tailored to women. Through these activities, women can bring about change in their lives and establish their identity in society.
